Ghana's deputy manager, John Paintsil, has extended his player monitoring duties to Berekum during the Ghana Premier League clash between Berekum Chelsea and Accra Hearts of Oak.

This is the second time the Black Stars' deputy manager has been in the Brong Ahafo Region as he continues to monitor players with specific qualities for the national team.

His first visit to the region was for the clash between Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano at Nana Kronmansah Park in Nsoatre.

Paintsil has been tasked by the head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, to look for players with specific qualities to strengthen the Black Stars.

His dedication and hard work have seen him travel to several other match venues in search of top talents who possess the necessary qualities he's looking for.

Paintsil's presence at several match venues, including Dawu, Kumasi, and Accra, has seen him note down several potential players for close monitoring and assessment.

The former West Ham United and Leicester City defender hopes to spot top talent who will tick all the boxes to strengthen the Black Stars during his numerous monitoring exercises.

With five games left in the league, Paintsil is expected to intensify his player monitoring as the Black Stars are set to commence preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June.
