Arsenal fans on social media have claimed that the Thomas Partey-Casemiro debate has been settled following the Brazilian's below-par performances this season.

The Gunners fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to hit out at Manchester United fans, stating that the debate ignited by the latter had no chance of success because Partey has always been better than Casemiro.

Some claimed that the quality gap between the two midfielders has always been obvious.

Arsenal fans' assertions follow Casemiro's poor run this season and particularly his shambolic display in Man United's 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday, May 6, 2024.

He made an error leading to a goal and was dribbled past the most in the match.

His performance encapsulates how challenging his season has been as some United fans believe the club should cash in on him in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey, despite battling injuries, has been magnificent for Arsenal in the few matches he has played.

He has been key in Arsenal's title charge in the final stage of the 2023/2024 campaign.
