Brazil, as the world knows, has earned its place as a key pillar in the World Football Hall of Fame, so it was an honour and privilege for Massimiliano Taricone, the Co-founder of Juventus Academy Ghana and SMAC Football Academy, to hold a business dinner meeting with Brazil’s national team coach, Mr. Dorival Junior.

Also present at the dinner meeting were Coach Alessio Scarchill and Coach Juan from the Italian football giants, Roma Football Club.

The main agenda was to discuss areas for global collaborations between Ghanaian, Brazilian, and Italian football talents and organizations. Both Ghana and Brazil have rich football heritages and are looking at ways to join forces to promote player and coaching development globally.

Some of the partnership ideas explored include exchange programs for players and coaches, joint training camps, sharing best practices in areas like youth academies and scouting, and even future player transfers between the two countries. Combining their expertise could create valuable growth opportunities.

With Massimiliano’s longstanding dedication to amplifying and investing in Ghanaian football, this meeting signals a strong commitment from both sides to strengthen football ties.

Exposing their players, coaches, and academies to different philosophies and cultures could be hugely beneficial. The potential combinations of Ghanaian athleticism and Brazilian technical skill are enticing.

If executed effectively, this groundbreaking partnership could elevate the football academy programs of Ghana and Brazil to new heights through shared learning and combined talent pools.

The reverberations could also be felt more globally in the professional ranks. For Ghanaian talent, this speaks strongly to Massimiliano and Kwadwo Asamoah’s “Grass to Global” philosophy for promoting Ghanaian football talent.
