Watch as suspected robbery syndicate member is busted two weeks after being caught on CCTV

A man suspected to be a member of a syndicate that attends public functions to steal people’s personal belongings has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in Accra.

According to graphic.com.gh, the arrest of the suspect comes two weeks after he was captured on CCTV allegedly stealing a camera during a programme at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra on April 24, 2024.

He was seen at a programme at the National Insurance Commission wearing the same shirt on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

The Ghana Police Service was informed of the whereabouts of the accused person, and officers were sent to apprehend him.

The report had a video which showed the moment the suspect was arrested by plain-clothed police officers.

The video also showed the moment the suspect allegedly stole the camera at the Tang Palace Hotel.
