The General Overseer of the International Godsway Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, faced intense criticism online following a video that surfaced showing him directing his followers to make seed offerings of at least GH¢20, labeling lesser amounts as an insult to God.

In the video, Obinim implored those who had contributed GH¢5 or GH¢10 to take back their money to prevent it from becoming a curse.

However, Despite the numerous backlashes, Obinim remains undisturbed, asserting that the criticism has not impacted him.

In response to his detractors, Obinim asserted his resilience, mentioning that even his nemesis, Kennedy Agyapong, made multiple attempts to ruin him without success.

He highlighted that the Assin Central MP, despite being more influential, could not succeed in his efforts to take him down using his extensive resources and connections.

"Kennedy Agyapong, the one who sought to destroy me, couldn't achieve his goal. If even he, with all his influence and wealth, failed, then how much less so can you? Do you realize the extent of the challenges I faced because of him? I've been summoned by the EOCO, BNI, GRA, National Security, CID, and various Courts," Obinim elaborated while speaking during a church service.
