West Ham United are reportedly considering parting ways with manager David Moyes at the end of the 2023/2024 season.

The Hammers are looking to end the Scottish manager's five-year stay at the club after failing to live up to expectations following big spending in the summer.

A report filed by reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano suggests the club is aiming to give the Clarets and Blue a new phase.

"West Ham are still expected to part ways with David Moyes at the end of the season; the plan remains clear."

Fabrizio indicated that West Ham plans to appoint former Spain and Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui.

"#WHUFC is in direct talks with Julen Lopetegui after the AC Milan deal collapsed in recent days. He’s not the only candidate on the shortlist; discussions are taking place."

West Ham United occupy 9th position on the table and could miss out on European football next season with three games left to end the season.

David Moyes first joined West Ham United in 2017 on a short term, saving the club from suffering relegation.

He was handed a substantive role in 2019, signing an 18-month contract, but extended his deal after winning the UEFA Conference League. His current contract is set to run out at the end of the ongoing campaign.
