Candy Academy Ladies clinch Brong Ahafo Regional Division One League title

Candies Academy Ladies have been crowned champions of the Brong Ahafo Regional Division One League after a 4-0 victory over Gyaba Ladies.

The team finished at the top of the league table with 24 points, winning eight matches and losing two. They also managed to score 46 goals and concede 8 goals in 10 matches played.

10-year-old Irene Addor of Kintampo Falls Ladies FC was adjudged the most promising player and best goalkeeper of the tournament, while Gifty Agyeiwaa Junior of Gyaba Ladies emerged as the top scorer with 25 goals and the best player of the season. The fair play team of the season went to Kintampo Falls Ladies FC.

Candies Academy Ladies will represent the Brong Ahafo Region at the Northern Zonal Championship in Winkogo, Upper East, from June 6th to 15th.
