‘NDC will win to continue the Better Ghana Agenda’

Mr George Lawson, Deputy General Secretary in-charge of Operations of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the quality leadership demonstrated by government over the last four years has contributed to their lead in the general election.

He said he was convinced the Electoral Commission would by the close of the day announce the NDC as the winner to continue the good work they had started to improve the living standard of Ghanaians.

Mr Lawson said this in an interview with Ghana News Agency on Sunday in Accra.

He said results coming in indicated that the NDC had been victorious in eight regions as compared to the New Patriotic Party winning in only two regions.

He expressed excitement about the confidence impose on the NDC government by the electorate to continue the “Better Ghana Agenda” started by the Late President Atta Mills.

He called on all party faithful to be calm and wait for the Electoral Commission to declare the results.
