THIS IS WHAT I HATE ABOUT NPP "HISTORIANS". THEY SELECT AND DISTORT THE FACTS. HOW CAN THIS WRITER FORGET THE INFAMOUS "NO COURT! NO COURT" SCREAM BY PRIME MINISTER BUSIA WHEN THE COUTS FOUND AGAINST HIM? AT LEAST , NKRUMAH'S ACTIONS WERE STRCTLY LEGAL. HE ACTED WITHIN A LEGAL FRAMEWORK. BUSIA WAS VIOLATING THE VERY CONSTITUTION WHICH MADE HIM PM.

And,if in your view, Akufo Addo, has "one more shot if he losesthis one",then why all the fuss?
For me, I can live with the Sir Johns, and Jakes of this country because we all know where they stand. But what I cannot counternance are these "closet"NPP propagandists masquerading as fair-minded columists who want what is good for this country, and all its citizens!

I thought ud be intelligent enough (as you always put itself up to be) to tell them that u cannot sue the President in his official capacity. If they are suing him in his privat capacity as a presidential candidate why did they use his official address?
Nana Addo should get this once an for all- he willl never be President!

No mention of unfettered executive interference in the work of the judiciary and in particular the Supreme Court will be complete without the famous Sallah and Tsatsu cases, all of which instructively had the imprimatur of self acclaimed democrats. An allusion to these historical facts in your article would have gone a long way to cure your bias and prejudices.

“I see Nana Addo making his point and not having any credible alternative from the others, especially from the NDC". Unlike Casely Hayford, who still cannot come to terms that his "candidate" lost, this other gentleman has moved on, and has prescribed the 'action program' President John Mahama should follow;failing which he would perhaps be 'charged' with wilful intent to "destabiliz[e] Ghana"! Some jokers, I`ll say.

Sidney's bias has been exhibited once again in his commentary. Why cant you come out of the closet and take a stand as Bokor and Rockson have done. We may not like thier commentary, but atleast we can give them credit for having the balls to take a stand other than hiding behind "objective" commentaries to promulgate a political agenda. We can read through the lines Sydney, your bias is soo glaring it can make Oman fm morning show host look very objective.

'Sydney' the time for misinformation and disinformation party campaigning is over! We have a lot of work to do.The President was elected with credentials including respect for the constitution and the rule of law. His focus is the better Ghana agenda.A tiger does not proclaim its tigritude. He did not go to court and therefore does not need to proclaim he respects petion outcome. It is the petioners with the beef who are re-assuring us that their concerns will be addressed by the supreme court in line with the rule of law.Try your gimmicks in the 'politricks' of 'yester' years, not today's Ghana!!If you don't get it watch how we vote, 'skirt and blouse', etc. Please fast-track your 'body' to present lest ye be left behind!

The writer Sydney Cassely-Hayford you have had a good write up, but you have left one very impotant side of the Rhetoric not addressed. I want perhaps to suggest that you address the constitution of the Supreme court membership, and its balance or inbalanced and whether complainent and the opponents shall accept judgement delivered.
If the peace seekers before the election, at the Kumasi deal will be observers or be jurors. If the grounds are level and independent.
NPP , i love you NDC i believe you the two must sign another accord for peace before this judgement is made. GOD bless Ghana, well done SYDNEY.

Mr Writer, haven,t we been here before? The Asantehene inspired Peace Accord, and all signed and pledged they will accept the Electoral Commission results. What happened? Now Akuffo Addo claims he will accept the Supreme Court verdict what guarantee is there that if it goes against him he will not go back on his word.Did Ursula Owusu not say in an interview after the filing that if they do not win in the Supreme Court then all die be die?
What has the NPP'S pledge to accept any verdict, apart from one in their favour, been worth, historically? I t is the NPP that is throwing the country into turmoil not Mahama.Have they gone to the Supreme Court because they know they can fix it for them? How can a few people in their funny wigs and gowns overturn the will of the people which has been accepted by all as free and fair. When the NPP thought they had won this election, they were admonishing the NDC to accept it and not challenge it.Oh the hypocrisy of these people makes me sick!!
