    The abbatoir should not be just a commercial venture funded and managed by a bank. The state has a stake in its proper handling if only for the sake of citizens' health insurance and assurance.

    all slaughter houses for cow,pigs and chicken are private owned! Only need to have gov. employees doing inspection duties..Anytime gov is involve(ghana airway,Gia) you have too many Mp's family on payroll! And failure waiting ...

    Well said!The inspection should be solely the gov't. It is obligatory for a gov't to protect its people. Food is one area;Abattoir. Contaminated foods can have a drastic consequences on productivity. Over to you Joe lartey!
