When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwasi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwasi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwasi Prat can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Prat and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratts recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Patt has the gut to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Dove; A Town Where It Is A Taboo To Menstruate, Give Birth And Bury The Dead
It is a taboo for women to give birth to babies or even menstruate in Dove, a town in the Mafi Traditional Area of the Central Tongu District.
As such, those expecting their menstruation and pregnant women in labour are by whatever possible means carried out of the town. They only return after delivery and after their menses have stopped.
This revelation was made by Dr Joseph Nuertey, the Volta Regional Medical Superintendent, when he delivered the state of health care in the region during the first general meeting of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs (VRHC) at Ho.
Dr Nuertey lamented that because of the age-long taboo, all efforts by the Ministry of Health (MoH) to establish a health facility to take care of birth and other issues had proven futile. He added that the taboo also forbade the burial of the dead in the town.
The medical superintendent, therefore, appealed to the VRHC to use their good offices to appease the gods in the area to lift the taboo. Dr Nuertey's revelation left the traditional rulers dumbfounded.
This prompted the Paramount Chief of the Battor Traditional Area, Togbega Patamia Dzekley VII, to say that he would immediately contact the chief and elders of Dove to see what could be done to resolve the issue
In most circumstances, it is the women, who are mostly farmers that nurture the children until maturity. According to the medical superintendent, he has been told that the gods of the town frown on anybody who flouts the taboo.
Dr Nuertey announced that maternal mortality in the region continued to be too high and this he attributed to the inadequate number of medical personnel and facilities in the region.

Yesterday it was the primary school pupils who were denied sitting for their exams for lack of funds to print the exam papers. And now the stranded students abroad.
Why is it that we cannot manage simple things.

What a country we have in Ghana, when rogues the likes of A Woyomes, Asiedu Nketias can live comfortably well off the state coffers when hard-up students overseas barely struggle to survive on supplemented part-time jobs in order to continue their education in high institutions of learning. What is going on in Ghana? The future of this country is in the hands of these young students as such they deserve to receive enough financial backing from the state to carry on with their studies. The NDC government should understand that state-earned funds should be put to better uses rather than being dished out to individual NDC political rogues and criminals.

I see no reason why the government should send students abroad to study oil and energy related courses at the University of Dundee and the Robert Gordon University. The government can cut cost by entering an agreement with one of the oil companies that it has a contract with to arrange to have selected students or employees work at the offices of these companies abroad to gain practical experience. The company will foot all expenses of the students or employees in addition to paying them salaries, while they are gaining practical work experience. This is what Nigeria did a few years ago with Gulf Oil Company in the US. They sent their employees to work at Gulf Oil offices throughout the US to gain practical experience, with their salaries paid for by Gulf Oil.
