Konadu urges Kotoko fans to remain calm

Former Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has urged the club’s supporters to remain resolute in their backing of the team during difficult times.

The Ghanaian champions are in turmoil since suffering elimination from the CAF Champions League at the hands of Algerian club JSM Bejaia.

The club has even made critical changes in their management believed to be an attempt to woo irate fans.

Konadu who won the affection of the club’s fans after winning last season’s Premier League title is now calling on the supporters to renew their love for the club during the difficult period.

“If you are true supporters, then you should show it especially when the going gets tough,” he said.

“The players hear all the comments made by the fans in the stands and this can affect a player’s performance on the field of play.

“Players will come and go, coaches will come and go as well as coaches, but the supporters are with the club forever,” he added.
