By George Osei

Greater Accra 2nd division campaigners Future Stars drew 2 ? 2 with Madina Youth in their Zone Four league encounter played at the Madina Aviation Park last Saturday.

Future Stars took a two goal first half lead through Sylvester Vanderpuye and James McCarthy but could not hold unto the lead as the visitors rallied in the second half to earn a point.

Kwabena Gadri and Cedrick Egyin Quansah scored second half goals to deny the home side the win they needed to climb out of the bottom ranks of the table.

With a game to end the first round, Future Stars owned by Ghana international Ernest Papa Arko, needs to back up on their performances if they hope to survive the league after gaining promotion this season.

Coach Abdul Razak said after the game that his boys lost concentration in the second half, a situation which allowed the visitors to pull even.

He promised to turn things around in the second round of the season when they will register a few more players to boost their squad and with it, stand in with a chance of making the middle league.

In other group games played over the weekend, Narita FC lost 0 ? 1 at home to Adenta United in a game played at the Legon Ajax Park.

Dreams FC beat visiting Vision FC 1 ? 0 at the Ashalley Botwe New Town Park to keep their hopes of qualifying to the middle league alive.
