BA United fall on Herbert Addo for GPL slot

Veteran coach Herbert Addo has been tasked to help BA United gain promotion to the Ghana Premier League.

The lower division giants are set for the promotional playoffs in June and are banking hopes on the man who helped them to the top flight some 26 years ago.

“It is true we are outdooring him right now in Sunyani. If history is anything to go by we will qualify as it happened in 1987,” B.A. United Chief Executive Officer Dickson Kyere told FootyGhana.

“He will have his first training session this morning [Monday].”

Addo won the Ghana top flight with Aduana Stars in 2010 on their debut season and guiding BA United gain a slot in the premiership will be a feather in his cap.

The Sunyani-based side are battling for the GPL slot with Bechem United, Guan United and Yassin FC.
