Preview: Crucial matches for title chasers

Clubs go into the Sunday's penultimate fixtures of the league with the title race undecided and the struggle to beat the two relegation spots still on.

The pressure has been on for the top three sides - Asante Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea and Medeama - who are aware that there are no margin for errors at this stage of the competition if their title ambitions are to be realized.

Kotoko, who are joint-top with title contenders Chelsea have an uphill task defending their title with a derby game against AshantiGold at the Essipon Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors have struggled to regain the top but will need to do more to ward off any threat if they are to defend the title they won last season.

Chelsea will come up against Aduana Stars but will have a close eye on the game involving Kotoko as they keep their fight for the title.

At the Robert Mensah Stadium, Medeama, sitting in third and one point adrift the top will continue their push with a game against Dwarfs, who are chasing for a top-four finish.

The battle to escape the drop could be decided in Wa for Berekum Arsenal when they play Wa All Stars.

In another relegation, Tema Youth need a win against King Faisal at the Tema Stadium to keep alive their hopes of remaining in the Premier League.

Liberty Professionals will be at home to Amidaus Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park while Hearts of Oak will travel to the Gyamfi Park to face New Edubiase.

Real Tamale United, winless and already booked for a place in the lower division for next season, will play their final home game in the Premier League when they host Heart of Lions.
