We will make it hard for Ghana - Lesotho coach

Lesotho went down 4-0 away to Zambia and now cannot qualify to the play-off phase of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The Likuena or Crocodiles as the Lesotho national team is called conceded defeat saying Zambia was the better side. But Lesotho coach Leslie Notsi says despite the heavy defeat, his team will return to Maseru and immediately commence preparations for their next match against Ghana at the Sesotho stadium in Maseru.

Notsi told Cafonline.com: that while they cannot win Group D, they will work even hard as they have 'national pride' to protect when they host the Black Stars next week.

Cafonline.com:The final score against Zambia was 4-0. What are your general impressions of the match?

Notsi:We knew that coming to Zambia was always going to be very difficult. We tried our best but ultimately Zambia was the better side. They played well, took their chances and would like to commend them for their performance and win.

Cafonline.com: What next now for you? You cannot win the group now.

Notsi:We are growing team. We know we cannot qualify. But for us, there is national pride at stake. We will go back home and begin to prepare for our next match. We play Ghana next and our target is to protect our national pride. We will prepare well and do well. We are going to make it difficult for Ghana because we want a result which will protect the pride of our nation.

Cafonline.com:Thank you very coach for this opportunity to speak with Cafonline.com: We wish you safe travels and good luck in your next match.

Notsi:Thank you very much.
