Sani Mohammed now police officer

Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sani Mohammed will officially pass out as a member of the Ghana Police Service today, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

The 28-year-old won the Ghana Premier League title with Hearts of Oak in 2002 and stayed three seasons with the Phobians before joining rivals Asante Kotoko.

The former shot-stopper is among personnel who would graduate from the Northern Regional Police Service Training School this morning.

But he left Kotoko following failures to settle his financial entitlements and faded out of the Ghanaian football scene.

Sani was once named in the Ghana squad, but failed to make an international appearance.
