Sellas admits mistakes

Black Satellites Coach Sellas Tetteh has admitted making mistakes against France in the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey, and asked Ghanaians to support his team with fervent prayers.

He admitted he made some unpardonable mistakes which helped France beat the Black Satellites last Friday.

Ghana opened its campaign in the FIFA U-20 World Cup by losing 1-3 to France in the first game of Group A.

The Ghana trainer was not ready to make known the blunders committed by his team which helped France to maul the Black Satellites, but noted that he and his technical team had realized some loopholes in the team so hopefully he would tighten them before Ghana face Spain on Monday.

Speaking with a section of the Ghanaian media, he said it was good that Ghana committed mistakes in its first match of the competition.

According to him, the defeat to France had served as an eye opener for him to change his tactics in the remaining group games.

Despite the defeat, Coach Tetteh said he was still focused, stressing that “the important thing is for the team to qualify to the next stage”.
