Kumasi Tennis club gets $15,000 changing room

The 4 Garrison Officers Mess Tennis Club in Kumasi has commissioned an ultramodern changing room facility to enhance interest in the sport.

The GH30,000 facility was constructed with funding from members of the club.

It consists of shower rooms and toilets for sexes, air-conditioned changing rooms as well as a place for relaxation for tennis players.

President of the Club, Samuel Ampadu Kyei, commended his colleagues for living the dream. He expressed special gratitude to Lt. Col. S.W.K Parbey for his support.

“We thank Lt. Col. Parbey for his personal contribution towards the realization of this project and to our members, let us pat ourselves on the back for what we have been able to achieve,” he told Luv Sports.

Meanwhile, plans are also far advanced to install floodlights on the courts to facilitate night games. The project is estimated to cost GHC 46,000.
