Second “Accra Works Out” on Saturday

The second edition of the Fitness conscious Ghanaians program dubbed “Accra Works out” will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, August 31.

The event which is a monthly programme organised by Primeval Consult in collaboration with the National Sports Authority will see individuals and Keep Fit clubs joining to train toghether under the instructions of experienced trainers.

The first edition held at the same venue was lauded by those who attended and the second edition promises to attract more patrons.

The second edition hopes to draw participants from various Keep Fit Clubs, Corporate bodies and individuals to the multi- purpose court at the Accra Stadium. According to Larry Opare Otoo of Primeval Consult who are organizing the programme with the support of the National Sports authority, the program will give an opportunity to members of the corporate world to burn down calories due to their busy work schedules.

He expressed confidence that all the needed arrangements have been made for a second successful take off. “We want to help those who do not train or exercise frequently to come out and feel the benefits of aerobics and the advantages in visiting gyms to shape their bodies” he said.

He thanked the National Sports Authority for the support as well as the sponsors and media who have thrown their weight behind the initiative.

The Accra Workout program is supported by Hisense, Gidi Power, Jubilee Sports, Henkoq Ventures, Lord J Alkaline Water and the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).

Larry Opare Otoo hinted that the second edition is likely to welcome some Black Stars players who will take part in the drills ahead of the clash with Zambia in Kumasi.

Arnold Aryee, one of the experienced trainers told yours truely he expects more people to attend and prayed that those who will attend will wear the right dresses for physical training. He congratulated all those who made it at the first edition.
