Hearts to confirm Herbert Addo as head coach

Accra Hearts of Oak will on Thursday confirm the appointment of new coach Herbert Addo according to reports.

The experienced trainer has been in talks to secure his return to the Phobians for the past two-weeks.

Addo is largely credited for helping Inter Allies escape relegation in last season’s Premier League when they looked destined to go down.

Hearts have been in the hunt for a new coach following the expiration of the short-term contract of Mohammed Polo at the end of last season.

The club has now resolved to hand the job to Herbert Addo on a two-year contract after briefly assessing other options.

The club’s board will meet on Thursday – where the confirmation of Addo’s appointment is to be made.

He will be earning a monthly salary of Ghc 8000.
