Flings Owusu-Agyapong to represent Ghana

at 2014 World Indoor Championships

Ghanaian athlete Flings Owusu Agyapong is set to represent Ghana at the IAAF World Indoor Championship in Sopot, Poland this weekend (March 7-9).

Owusu-Agyapong has been in fine form this indoor season running a personal best of 7.23 seconds in the 60m.

Her season and personal best ranks her number 2 all-time among Ghanaian women. She is currently ranked 3rd in Africa, 6th among Commonwealth nations and 15th among 60m entries for the World Indoor Championships.

Flings, who was born in Toronto-Canada, has been competing for Ghana since 2009. She was part of the 4x100m quartet who won silver at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India.
