Joshua Okine won’t give up on world title dream

Joshua Okine remains adamant and not giving up on the dream to earn world championship glory and is appealing to his fans to remain steadfastly behind him with their prayers and support because he will become champion for them.

33 year old Okine, famously nicknamed Bukom Tsatsu began his professional career way back on September 30, 2001 and previously held the Commonwealth, WBO Africa as well as IBF Intercontinental Welterweight belts but has still yet to get a crack at the world title proper.

But whilst looking forward to his next fight in August against a yet to be announced opponent, Okine tells Boxing In Ghana he is still focused on the ambition to reach the very top.

“The dream to be a world champion is one that I’m not giving up on. It’s true that I’ve been around for a long time but I’m still young and determined to achieve all my dreams. I want to tell my fans not to worry, everything is in the hands of the Lord and I’m hoping that by 2015 I look forward to realizing the wish to be a world champ,” Joshua Okine said.

Bukom Tsatsu is also expressing heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to his promoters and management team led by the Golden Concepts International and GoldenMike Boxing Promotions.

“I thank my promoter Golden Mike and my manager Mr. Manly-Spain for their unbelievable love and support. I’m praying for them because the support they have given my career is just too much,” Okine stated.
