Black Eagles beat Togo 13-11 in opener

Ghana’s male 15s Rugby national team earned a close shave victory over neighbours, Togo in their opening fixture at the Confederation of Africa Rugby (CAR) North Africa Division Two Cup in Niger on Monday.

A try by Emmanuel Kalos in addition to Mohammed Rabiu’s two penalty kicks and one conversion was enough to see the Black Eagles overcome the resistance of the Togolese 13-11 for a close but important victory as Team Ghana continue the quest for a maiden championship victory.

The Ghanaian side next play against hosts Niger on Thursday June 6.
