Ghana police are ill-equipped, they don't have much to work with & not enough police stations. Yes, crime has escalated bcos these criminals know they can get away with it. Bring back the death penalty, preferably, the firing squad & publicize it for all to see. That'll scare the daylight out of those thugs. Also we need a stiffer laws on guns. Where are these guns coming from?

It doesn't if we are always benchmarking ourselves with other countries. It does not matter how much crime is committed elsewhere, we need to recognize and solve our problems.

Ghana stands to lose in all these armed robbery affair. The punishment for crime and particulary armed robbery should be death by firing squad. No jail sentence period. 2. All foreigners travelling to Ghana must hold visas. 3. Police must make random search on suspected foreigners in our midst.4.To send the message home all armed robbers already jailed should be brought out and sentenced to death by firing squad. 5. Effective police patrol of Ghana`borders day and night. 6. dectectives sent across the country to spy on activities of crimininals.
Jail sentece for armed robbers must stop. Ghana is not safe and not safe at all. Any foreigner epecially white skinned who wanted peace should stay where they are. Ghana is not safe for a long time now. Politicians have no clue, the police lack tactics to catch criminals. Implement my suggestions and armed gangs will lose interest in their operation. We need no nonsence approach. A word to a wise is enough.

If u want real crime and criminals, it is how JJ 1awlings described them. "Economic murderers". Those who can rob a whole community of a whole hospital. Those who mortgage the country to foreigners and sign NONSENSE oil contracts and mortgae Ghana Telecom to Vodofone so cheap and cheap.
Those who steal govt money and deprive the people of water and good sanitation and toilets and public toilets. Nonsense.
Ghana can be OK in 6 months if the ' damn mother fuckers ' are patriotic enough. Nonsense
