    African, poor and tourist Ghana stands to LOOSE HEAVILY if John Mahama fails to combat crime, especially ARMED ROBBERY.
    Death Penalty is one of the TOOLS to fight it.

    The writer of this article is a hypocrite. He must read or visit BBC,ARD, ZDF, FRANCE2, CNN or other news and he will know what crime is and where crimes are committed. We are really safe in Ghana.

    It doesn't if we are always benchmarking ourselves with other countries. It does not matter how much crime is committed elsewhere, we need to recognize and solve our problems.

    I think compared to Ghana, police in the US are much tougher on crime. You at least feel somewhat better that justice will be served when you think of the recent incidents.

    Death penalty and giveing people community labour to to work as portwers in hospitals, streets and koele lagoon to teach these criminals a hard learn. Sending them to jaul is no longer a viable options any more.
