JCI Honours Veronica Mills Lamptey

The Executive Director of A-to-Z Woman Training Institute, Mrs Veronica Mills Lamptey, has been honoured by Junior Chamber International (JCI) as a Senator (no: 72172) and also a Fellow of Henry Giessenbier (No:131) of the JCI Foundation. The decision to honour Mrs Mills Lamptey was based on her selfless service to humanity through the advancement of youth empowerment in Ghana and many parts of the world.
JCI is a member driven voluntary organisation that brings together young professionals aged between 18 and 40. Its mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people across the globe. The organisation, affiliated to United Nations also seeks to achieve this through running projects that address community challenges and opportunities, individual development, business interests and international connections.
A Senatorship is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a member of the Junior Chamber International Organisation. It is a unique way to pay tribute to an individual for his or her dedication and outstanding service on either a local, national or international level. It confers “lifetime membership” of JCI upon the recipient. It is a highly respected and prestigious honour. The award was presented to Mrs Veronica Mills Lamptey by Her Excellency the JCI World President, Chiara Milani.
