NPP UK elects executives after close and keen contest

NPP UK last night held its branch elections to elect executives to serve for the next 4 years.

It was a very tight contest for most of the positions and after the gruelling campaign in London as well as in the chapters of Milton Keynes ad Manchester and a long period of voting and counting of votes, Mr Michael Ansah won the position of Chairman beating the incumbent ,the formidable Hayford Atta Krufi in a close contest .Mr Ansah polled 109 votes as against Mr Atta Krufi’s 92 votes. Mr Ansah who did run a campaign based on unity and a clear agenda for change promised to unite the branch and position it properly at the heart of the party to make a positive impact in supporting the National party vigorously to win the next elections in 2016.

Mr Ansah thanked the outgoing executives for their hard work and sacrifices made to the party and promised to tap into their experience and knowledge as well as get them involved in party matters. He said there no winners and losers and that the biggest winner was the NPP UK branch party and the NPP party at large.
