NDC UK/Ireland Youth Congratulates President Mahama

It is with a great sense of joy that we wish to express our congratulations to the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on the occasion of his election as President of our great nation.

On this momentous day we wish to express our gratitude to our fellow citizens of Ghana for their exemplary show of patience and fortitude in the face of a protracted balloting process. Contributions of the Peace Council, the Media Houses and the Civil Society Groups helped in deepening trust and legitimacy of our Electoral Commission.

The loosing political parties and their followers have also displayed tremendous patriotism by allowing the Electoral Commission to discharge its duties without significant impediments. We recognise your good intentions for our dear country and wish to say ayekoo.

We also take this opportunity, to urge all members of the NDC to be circumspect in their celebrations; close ranks and rally behind whichever team the President forms. So together, we can work to make Ghana a better place for all.

God bless Ghana, God bless His Excellency President Mahama and God bless the National Democratic Congress.
