LEADERS AT ALL LEVELS NEVER SHOW ANY SORT OF ACCOUNTABILITY NOT ONLY IN GHANA BUT AFRICA. COCOA IS STILL TRADED IN LONDON, ENGLAND WHY? BRITAIN DOESN'T PRODUCE COCOA. WHY AFRICA COCOA PRODUCERS TRADE COCOA AND OTHER PRODUCTS IN THEIR COUNTRIES JUST LIKE BOTSWANA TRADED OR AUCTION DIAMOND IN THAT COUNTRY. GHANAIAN LEADERS LIKE BIG CARS, BIG HOUSES YET THE ROADS AND DRAINS LEADING TO THESE HOMES ARE NOT BUT DEPLORABLE WITH FILTH, THIS IS THE KIND OF MENTALITY THESE LEADERS HAVE. IT A SHAME YET WE AS NATION WANT GOOD STUFF BUT FAIL TO WORK FOR IT

GHANA'S ECONOMY BEEN MISMANAGE FOR MANY DECADES WITH HUGE CORRUPTION, GREED, SLAVE MENTALITY, IGNORANCE, WHICH CONTINUE TO THIS DAY. SELFISH MENTALITY. SOUTH KOREA BEEN THROUGH 2 WARS YET THEY WERE ABLE TO BUILD THEIR ECONOMY BACK. SHAME TO GHANAIAN LEADERS AT ALL LEVELS. GHANA AND AFRICA HAVE HUGE RESOURCES YET POVERTY HAD COVERED THIS LANDSCAPE. WHY COCOA IS TRADED IN LAND SINCE COLONIAL DAYS IS WRONG, LONDON, ENGLAND DOESN'T PLANT, PRODUCE COCOA SO WHY IS IT BEING TRADED OVER THERE. BOTSWANA DID SEE THE LIGHT NOW DIAMONDS ARE BEING AUCTION OR TRADED IN BOTSWANA, WITH EMPLYMENT THAT GOES WITH IT

Hallo Professor -- u've nailed it right & it's an assessment of truth. Why can't myself & u & the many Loser Prez.Candidates come together forming a radical plternative to NDC / NPP governance.I think the economy has not been anywhere good if basics of life are not there to enjoy. -- Unemployment -- miserable -- Manufacturing -- exhausted -- Agriculture -- un-mainstay -- Education -- bribery ,corruption, mismanagement -- Taxes -- unaccountable -- Leadership or Head of State / Rule of Law -- poor & selfish & greed. .. Professor u know all these machinery not working but all of ur peers keep quiet & allow things to falter. Love ur opinion of the economy --- Ghanaians now live themselves on Western World & that's very wrong -- we are the source & cause of our predicament... ooh when can Ghanaians be economically free -- unless we've a rival party to boot the 2x main party.. thinking ---

For your information, Ghana is not a two-party system. It is a multi-party system and that is what we definitely need to change from.
The stupid endless bickering and monumental amounts of money that are spent 'bribing' the electorate to vote for several dubious parties and their incompetent leaders can be better spent addressing the pathetic problems of our state of under-development.
One single party including all aspiring politicians is the only panacea to the foolish, childish and senseless antagonisms that has only ensured that we pull each other down at all times instead of holding each other by the hands to help us all get out of the rut

Hey,its only through a complete revolution in our education system that we can transform and grow the economy.New political parties are not the answer,we need people educated in science and maths to articulate Ghana's forward vision. Ghana today is a nation with millions unemployed but without the necessary vocational skills, even if jobs are available. Read what Thailand,Singapore,Phillipines,South Korea and Maylaysia are doing with their education systems from kindergaten to university level. Our universities continue to churn out hundreds of social science graduates with absolutely no job skills. This is the face of wasteful Ghana. Just about everyone in Ghana is stone throwing at the same invisible enemy, ourselves!

What the prof is saying is a fact. Go to any circle in any major city and see the number of teenagers and grown-ups struggling to exist. If you call that living? Have you travelled outside your village or town or country?

We Ghanaians do not get it.
It is not about how much you earn as a nation, but rather how well you use whatever you earn.
And with this CROOKS Mahama, Rawlings, and Tsikata cabal doing everything to grab political power for their self-aggrandizement it doesn't matter how much we earn for these people are out to fleece us till kingdom come.
But the SAD FACT IS THAT PEOPLE CANNOT SEE THROUGH THEM.
OH GHAHA WHAT AN IRONY. WE COULD HAVE BEEN THE GREATEST BLACK NATION IN THE WORLD BUT FOR A TRIBAL JEALOUSY BECAUSE OF WHICH VOTE FOR CORRUPT FOLKS LIKE THE NDC.
