'I feel unappreciated in Ghana' - Dada KD

Veteran highlife singer, Dada Kwaku Duah, has said, he has not been treated fairly, in the music industry, despite his illustrious career spanning over 25 years.

According to the musician, popularly known as “Dada KD”, he had not gained the needed recognition in terms of awards, considering his numerous hits over the past years.

He was of the opinion that, many award schemes have overlooked his works despite the greater strides he had made over the years, with constants hits.

''Indeed I find it a bit weird why some stakeholders in the music industry have not appreciated my musical ministry for more than two decades.
''I received nominations in the past, but I'm yet to win an award which is not encouraging,'' Dada KD said.

Dada KD believes he's one of the best contemporary highlife musicians in the country and can easily rule that particular genre of music.

He also revealed that, he would soon release some new songs onto the scene and also embark on a tour around the world to promote those songs.

Known for his unique singing prowess, Dada KD has been touted by many Ghanaian music loving fans as one greatest music stalwarts.
