ADISCO; setting the records straight.

The adage “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely” has found solace in Adisadel College courtesy Ghana Education Service (GES). Once upon a time, a certain headmaster called H.K.K Graham retired as the headmaster of this school and held a sumptuous send-off cum birthday party for himself. That action alone meant that he had said his good bye to the school. I am told that the former H.M had always bragged to his teachers that “as for me, I’m well prepared for my retirement unlike some of you teachers who spend all your money on women” So, why is this man trying by all means to stay in office? He once lambasted a certain Mr. Bonney, formerly of Kommenda Sec-Tech and the former Aggrey H.M for doing same not knowing his time will come.
Firstly, Adisco students were forced to pay Gh 2.00 each multiplied by approximately 1750 students for his “unprecedented” retirement benefit. It didn’t end there. Housemasters and management members also contributed Gh 20.00 each. However, he could not dare the teachers. The school’s PTA formed a six-member committee to think of a token for the man subject to the approval of the PTA house. That obnoxious six-member committee suggested a whopping Gh30.00 to be paid by each parent. Assuming that is even ok, why was it billed against unsuspecting parents when the house had not given its approval, to the extent that students who returned to school without the amount are being harassed house masters. What effrontery? All this is going on and the school’s Board of Governors headed by the Anglican Bishop of Cape Coast cannot do anything. Indeed the so-called bishop has written a letter to the GES, Accra begging the GES to allow the man to stay up to the Speech and Prize Given Day, for what Monsieur Bishop? The reason is simple, when students have been billed Gh 50.00 each why won’t there be enough money to help Mr. “I’ve prepared to go home well”, the bishop and their cronies. GES, is there no other person to take over the affairs of this school? Think about it, why is the bishop asking for this extension up to the Speech Day and not beyond that? What is his main reason for that extension? None! Did the bishop say that the Anglican Church is asking the man to stay? But it is common knowledge that the man has his own church so he is not even an Anglican. He even said that one of his ex-gratia cars was presented to him by his church so what is the bishop talking about?
On the said send-off day, four expensive cars were lined up as gifts to the H.M including Ford Explorer, Nissan Terrano, BMW s4 and an Opel saloon car. One of the cars was to be presented by PTA but no PTA representative was at hand to do so because the house had not taken any decision on what to give him but he brought a car to be presented to him. Where did the car come from and who has paid for it? Because he wanted to force the PTA’s hand, he wrote a letter of appreciation to the PTA when no presentation had been made. The PTA did well by replying that they have not even decided on what to give him so the letter of appreciation was premature. Mr. “I’m prepared well” you see the disgrace you have brought upon yourself? Greediness will always give the pretender away. YOU ARE SO SHAMELESS I CAN’T FATHOM WHAT SORT OF PERSON YOU ARE MADE OF. If I were you, with all the bragging you have done I wouldn’t have spent even a day after my so-called send-off. Why can’t you come to the office but still signs cheques from the Acropolis?
Surprisingly, the man is still admitting students into the school and parents are paying as much as Gh1000.00 whiles his agent collects his Gh300.00 just to enter the school. The District Education Office is acting ostrich because they always have their share; I swear, ask the Azaa Anglican Bishop. In Ghana, our greedy leaders understand only one solution and that is the application of force. I’m appealing to the students and staff of Adisadel College to embark on sit down strike until that greedy bastard is booted out with his cronies- the Anglican Bishop and that education boss called Mrs. Etrue or whatever she calls herself. Officers should be sent to the school to interview students and staff and we will see the wicked people who have milked this school for their own benefit.
But where are the vociferous Adisco old boys? Funny lot, isn’t it? They have always been hiding whiles this crook does his own thing. GES, come to Adisco ooo, come! If you want the school to explode, sit in your offices. SHAMELESS GRAHAM, SHAMELESS BISHOP, SHAMELESS GES. Na Ghana for you be that, chop make I chop.
