The ordeal of a career woman

Many successful and intelligent women find it difficult getting husbands. This is because most men turn to shy away from these types of women. The ordeal of such women is further compounded when one happens not to be that beautiful or attractive. An ugly but successful woman finds herself entangled between two blocks.

She feels proud to submit to a man because she thinks she is successful forgetting that her looks do not actually attract men to her. She spends all her time concentrating on her work or studies and has little time for men. Little does she know that she is growing older but not younger.

When she goes to bed, she dreams that she is getting older and as such needs to get a husband. The following morning, she smiles to any man she meets on her way to work trying to impress a man and draw him closer to herself. When she gets to work, she forgets the dream she had the previous night, all she thinks about now is her work, men can go to hell.

She closes late from work and gets home late. The moment she enters her room, she feels some emptiness, where is my husband? She asked. She has no man to confide in and have fun with. She murmurs and goes to sleep.

The following morning, she wakes up and the first thought that comes to her mind is, why not consult my pastor for special prayers to help me get a husband. She puts on her best dress and leaves for church hopeful that God is going to perform a miracle in her life.

She meets pastor after church and tells him her problem. Pastor as usual will try to calm her fears telling her that God’s time is the best and that she needs not rush because God was going to send her a husband. She goes back home fully inspired and relaxed; waiting for God’s time to get her husband forgetting she keeps growing older.

Finally, a man arrives from nowhere and expresses interest in marrying her, she quickly accepts blindly to save herself the ordeal she has been going through. The first three months, she takes it like world cup, thinking she was already in heaven; little does she know this was the beginning of real life problems. She does virtually everything with her newly found love.

She decides to humble herself before her man for some time then begins to show her real self. She wants to show her man she is a successful woman knowing little that men hate their wives trying to show off to them. Confusion begins to set in.

She feels that she is successful and as such cannot tolerate any nonsense from her husband she decides to pack out to stay alone. Knowing little what men want is freedom. This gives the man the opportunity to see other women. Her woes continue to linger on.

Woman, no matter your social standing or level of education, you will always need to hide your pride and submit to a man. This is what will bring harmony to our homes.
