Akuffo Addo Oman Ghana Supporters, Leave Asantehene Alone

Nana Akuffo Addo supporters who call on to Radio talk shows should be careful about how they couch their language in attacking Asantehene.

I have been listening to Oman Ghana Radio morning talk show with host Nana Frimpong and the way some of these callers attack Asantehene is very disgusting and the earlier they stop, the better it would be for Nana Akuffo Addo chances in winning the Presidency. As an Asante and a staunch Nana Akuffo Addo supporter, these callers put me in a tight position in choosing where my loyalty lies.

Some of these Asantehene attackers, especially one caller called Nana Akyaa makes uninformed and unsavory comments about Asantehene that sometimes make me doubt if my support for Nana Akuffo Addo is a thoughtful one.

A week or so ago, this same person attacked Asante chiefs by believing that because President Mahama gave his speech in Kumasi about his donation of the 13 vehicles Kumasi, it was the Asante Chiefs that benefitted from the donation. The same person disrespected the Manhyia Palace because he believed the said speech by President Mahama was made at the Manhyia Palace not knowing the said speech was made at the National House of Chiefs opposite the Manhyia Palace. I don't even think Asantehene who used to be the permanent head of the National House of Chiefs until the chiefs decided to rotate the Presidency of the National House of Chiefs is even a member of the National House of Chiefs anymore and did not benefit from the trucks donation.

The Ashanti regional house of chiefs received only one truck like the rest of the other nine regional house of chiefs and Nana Akyaa who I can figure from her spastic rantings and bigotry statement is not Asante should be mindful that, their comments are very insulting to Asantes who support Nana Akuffo Addo and are also proud of their heritage which is reposited in Adantehene.

On 7/24/14, the same day it was reported at Ghanaweb that Asantehene gave a speech in Washington DC where he denied of belonging to any political party, the same Nana Akyaa called into the Nana Frimpong Oman Ghana morning show and said that Asantehene waslying and he is an Ndc supporter and other statements that should not be directed at my King. Let's even assume Asantehene is a closeted Ndc supporter, he has the right to support any party as long as he doesn't publicly support that Party.

As an Akuffo Addo supporter, I am appealing to the other Akuffo Addo supporters to be careful how they speak against Asantehene because doing so will make Nana lose a lot of support in Ashanti region. If I am offended by the comments of these people, believe me, a lot of Asantes get offended by these unguarded comments by these lippy individuals.

Nana Akuffo Addo if he becomes the Npp Presidential flagbearer which I am certain he will, he will need every single Npp vote in Ashanti region and People like Nana Akyaa and others are not helping Nana Akuffo Addo's cause. Nana Akuffo Addo supporters should stop attacking Asantehene and President Kufuor, it will not help Nana Akuffo Addo, a word to the wise, they say is in the .....
