Fisherman Remanded in Custody for Raping a Married Woman

The Tema magistrate's court last Thursday remanded into prison custody, a fisherman who took advantage of the intoxication of a married woman and raped her during the celebration of the Homowo festival last year. Ogli Obed Narh whose plea was scheduled re-appear yesterday May 26, 2003. Inspector Matilda Tetteh, prosecuting, told the court presided over by Mrs. Florence Ninepence that on August 21, 2002, during the celebration of the Homowo festival at Kpone, the woman went out with friends (read full story)
