Court remands mechanic in custody for fraudMankranso (Ash), April.30, GNA - The Mankranso magistrate court on Monday granted a 34-year old mechanic of Abuakwa five million cedis bail in a fraud case.
John Boakye, mechanic, pleaded not guilty and will re-appear on May 4, 2004.
Prosecuting, Police Inspector Joseph Gabienu told the court that about two months ago, one Kwame Peter and his two friends took a car to the workshop of the accused at Sofoline in Kumasi to be repaired.
