Dwarfs defender Nteng concedes relegation

Ebusua Dwarfs centre-back Kingsley Nteng says all hope is lost for the club to survive demotion in the Ghana Premier League.

The Cape-Coast based side are second bottom on the league log after Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Hasaacas.

Dwarfs must win their final league match at home against Inter Allies on Wednesday and hope other relegation battlers Aduana Stars and King Faisal lose.

Nteng, who joined on loan from Asante Kotoko, has given up on his side’s survival chances.

“There is no hope at all for us (Ebusua Dwarfs),” Nteng Kumasi-based Hello FM.

“The way things are going, I don’t think there is hope for us.”

Dwarfs returned to the Ghana top-flight for the 2011/2012 season after being relegated at the end of the 2005/2006 season.
