Aduana beat Kotoko to escape relegation

Aduana Stars avoided relegation from the Ghana Premier League after posting a vital 2-0 win over champions Asante Kotoko.

Second half strikes from James Abban and Emmanuel Akuoko sealed the important win for the Fire club before their fans in Dormaa.

Aduana missed first half chance to get into the lead after defender Godfred Saka missed a penalty kick – much to the dismay of the home fans.

The former champions however dug deep in the second half to come up with two goals to steal all three points to retain their Premier League status.
