Kotoko CEO welcomes BA United to Premier, pledges players

General Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Samuel Opoku Nti has welcomed Brong Ahafo United back into the Ghanaian top flight after a 10-year stay in the lower divisions.

B.A. United on Wednesday made a return to the Premier League after winning their second fixture against Real Tamale United in the promotional play-offs.

A slim 1-0 victory over Real Tamale United at the Robert Mensah Stadium handed the Brong Ahafo side the upper hand in the qualifying campaign ahead of the final fixtures on Saturday.

And in the hospitality norm, Mr Opoku Nti has on behalf of Kotoko saluted the 'apostles of power soccer' on their qualification and has pledged to loan some of its fringe players to the Sunyani Coronation Park side if they express interest.

"We welcome them back to the premier because it is not easy but what I would advice them is that they must try to focus on surviving in the league and staying for a longer period",

"We would like to loan some of our players to them if they wish, and apply for them as soon as possible because other clubs are on our necks already",.

The two clubs shared a warm relationship during their stay in the top flight.
