There is land hunger in the area. The population has far outstripped the mass of land available for farming. The situation is further worsened by the fact that almost everyone in the area about 99% are farmers. The best way to avert eventual violence, is the diversification of activities and even the guinea fowl project alone is woefully inadequate to solve the problem. As the DCE and MP-elect you will have to find the means for the diversification of activities. This will be the only way to avert tension and eventual eruption of violence. For who will want to sleep hungry because he/she has nowhere to farm or do something for a living?

Those youth who go to the technical schools in the area should be assisted with loans to engage themselves in doing something useful and not to acquire the knowledge and then coma back home to sit and stir at the beards of their fathers, simply because they don't have the capital to start any business etc.
