You are referring to the so-called prophecy of St. Malachy, not Micah. This prophecy is fraudulent; the first evidence of its existence was centuries after it was allegedly written, and it gets very vague at this time and is stunningly accurate beforehand, suggesting it was composed long after St. Malachy. As for the 112th pope, that was Boniface VI, who reigned in 896. (Francis is the 266th pope.) As for married priests, there are already married priests and have been for a while; some Eastern Catholic priests are married and some married minister converts to Catholicism from Lutheranism and Anglicanism have been permitted to be ordained. There is no doctrine which forbids this, it is strictly discipline. A venerable one, to be sure, but only a discipline.

Eric, you are right; it is St Malachy, not Micah. "Micah, meaning "who is like the LORD",[1] was a prophet who prophesied from approximately 737–696 BC in Judah and is the author of the Book of Micah." Source: wiki.

"A "Prophecy of the Popes" is attributed to St. Malachy, which is claimed to predict that there would be only 112 more popes before the Last Judgment. It was discovered and published by Benedictine Arnold de Wyon in 1590. Most scholars consider the document a 16th-century elaborate hoax.[5] Like any good conspiracy theory, there are many holes in the lore of St. Malachy, according to Father James Weiss, a professor of church history at Boston College. "It is widely thought ... given who the author was and his relationship, [that the prophecies] were published to establish the case for election of one particular cardinal," said Weiss.[6] Dr. Thomas Groome, chair of the Department of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry at Boston College, has a similar notion, "For myself -- and even as a native Irishman -- the 'Prophecies of St. Malachy' are a grand old fun tale that have about as much reliability as the morning horoscope".[6] Thomas J. Reese, SJ, of Georgetown University, had only this to say: "St. Malachy's prophecy is nonsense."[6]

Let's bury the lies, and read the bible; we can't go wrong. The bible has stood the test of times for centuries, and its truth is being tested everyday by you and me. Its reliability has always been beyond measure.

You don't know what you are saying. Read the Bible well and you will get to know that most science and technology and business concepts are from the word of God.Let me blow your mind with this 2 egs. In the garden of eden God performed the first surgery. That was long before science inverted chlorofone used in surgery. In business he says we should pay our tithe to Him.If you are in need and you want to use it, you can do that, how ever if you are coming to pay, you need to add 5 percent to it thus you pay interest. Therefore you don't pay 10percent but 15 percent. This is where bankers learnt that when you take a loan you need to pay interest on the money you took. There is more in the Bible read and search for them and you wont criticize.

If you are wondering why Ghana is still a poor country riddled with reason-averse citizens 56 years after Nkrumah declared our independence, then the above article is a good clue to solving that mystery.

Horus of Egypt "Egypt, the primeval seat of learning, was the high seat of Sun adoration. The Sphinx, with the face to the east, represents Harmmachus, young Horus, or the rising Sun. The orb is Osiris, the ruling god of day. In its descent it is the dying deity, going below to the land of Shades; but only to be resurrected as the victorious Horus, piercing the head of the dragon of darkness." James Bonwick Irish Druids & Old Irish Religions The Egyptian sun god Horus, who predated the Christ character by thousands of years, shares the following in common with Jesus: Horus was born of the virgin Isis-Meri on December 25th in a cave/manger with his birth being announced by a star in the East and attended by three wise men. His earthly father was named "Seb" ("Joseph"). Seb is also known as "Geb": "As Horus the Elder he...was believed to be the son of Geb and Nut." Lewis Spence, Ancient Egyptian Myths and Legends, 84. He was of royal descent. At age 12, he was a child teacher in the Temple, and at 30, he was baptized, having disappeared for 18 years. Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus or Iarutana (Jordan) by "Anup the Baptizer" ("John the Baptist"), who was decapitated. He had 12 disciples, two of whom were his "witnesses" and were named "Anup" and "Aan" (the two "Johns"). He performed miracles, exorcised demons and raised El-Azarus ("El-Osiris"), from the dead. Horus walked on ***barred word***. His personal epithet was "Iusa," the "ever-becoming son" of "Ptah," the "Father." He was thus called "Holy Child." He delivered a "Sermon on the Mount" and his followers recounted the "Sayings of Iusa." Horus was transfigured on the Mount. He was crucified between two thieves, buried for three days in a tomb, and resurrected. He was also the "Way, the Truth, the Light," "Messiah," "God's Anointed Son," the "Son of Man," the "Good Shepherd," the "Lamb of God," the "Word made flesh," the "Word of Truth," etc. He was "the Fisher" and was associated with the Fish ("Ichthys"), Lamb and Lion. He came to fulfill the Law. Horus was called "the KRST," or "Anointed One." Like Jesus, "Horus was supposed to reign one thousand years." Furthermore, inscribed about 3,500 years ago on the walls of the Temple at Luxor were images of the Annunciation, Immaculate Conception, Birth and Adoration of Horus, with Thoth announcing to the Virgin Isis that she will conceive Horus with Kneph, the "Holy Ghost," impregnating the virgin with the infant being attended by three kings, or magi, bearing gifts In addition, in the catacombs at Rome are pictures of the baby Horus being held by the virgin mother Isis--the original "Madonna and Child."
