NPP’s Secret Plot Against Mahama Uncovered!

From now on, Ghanaians should expect to hear a lot of talk from NPP activists about corruption in the Mahama government, whether real or imaginary, thanks to a clandestine strategy mapped out by the intelligence wing of the opposition party to cause disaffection for the government.

The eight point secret plan, intercepted by the Daily Post early this week, is meant for some big wigs of the party who want Nana Akufo-Addo to run for elections again in 2016. Other part of the secret document is for members of the Communication team of the party, activists who often take part in radio and television discussions as well as some media personnel seen as favoraubly disposed towards the NPP.

Below is the secret NINE point plan in part. It is published unedited;

1. Intensify the good image building of Nana Addo. Secretly and subtly talk to more civil society groups to advocate a statesmanship award to Nana. A substantial budget is in place for its execution.

2. Get so-called opinion polls out to state that Akufo Addo is still the most popular person in the NPP and the choice of the generality of the party to challenge Prez Mahama in 2016. The polls are to put Alan Kyeremanteng at second and Hon. Isaac Osei at third.

3. A high powered team to be made up of very senior citizens in the academia (two professors, a chief and a member of the clergy) are to travel to Europe to convince Nana Addo that he is still the choice of the masses and has a realistic chance to win in 2016. The polls are to be cited as examples.

4. Capitalize on the negative comment by Dr. Tony Aidoo and Abeiku Santana against the President and his appointees especially those around him. Dr. Tony Aidoo is an insider and his words against his government are a plus for us. This will be perfect propaganda for us. Abeiku openly supported the President in the 2012 elections. He likes talking. He must be encouraged to talk some more.

5. Corruption MUST be the watch word against the President and his officials whether there’s proof or not of corruption. Corruption, corruption and corruption must be on our lips on every programme,

6. Control of groups who demonstrated when NEC meeting was going on. Budget in place to influence their leaders.

7. Amplify the saga about the President’s picture in front of the CNN building to cloud the achievements of his trip.

8. Papa J is about to explode and we must find ways and means for it to happen. It will aid our cause. It will give us some breathing space from the loss of the petition at the Supreme Court.

9. Budget in place for some in the leadership of workers’ unions to encourage them to take strong stands against the government This plan, Daily Post has been told, is already being implemented with huge amounts of money already advanced to some targeted people to encourage them carry out the agenda. Some media personnel who are also to be used are not to be given money but encouraged to sing the various choruses. These cannot be totally trusted and therefore must not be given money lest they leak info out.
