President Mahama buys Five Star Hotel in United Arab Emirates

The Ghana Truth Forum based in Dubai is calling on President John Dramani Mahama to explain the purchase of a 350 room hotel in the United Arab Emirates while he was on holiday in Dubai.

President Mahama who told Ghanaians that he was on holiday with his family and was pictured with Sheikh al Maktoum , the Emir of Dubai on so called bi lateral talks had a real agenda to be in Dubai other than holidays.

President Mahama according to sources within the Dubai Investment Corporation paid 40 million Dollars for the JA Jebel Ali Hotel, a 128 Acre beach Resort which is built on its own sand dunned island.

The hotel has spectacular waterfalls, wooden gazebos and lush gardens. It has an inscription in front of the hotel ALLAH U AKBAR meaning God is great. God has been indeed great and kind to President Mahama after all with a country tethering on the brink of economic collapse, he is using its monies and resources especially its petroleum revenue to enrich the United Arab Emirates which itself is an oil rich country. Our leaders are truly mad!

It is an open secret to those of us close to the ruling National Democratic congress that President John Mahama has long coveted owning a stream of properties in the oil rich Middle East and also in the far east.

He already owns 3 commercial ships in Japan currently docked in Kobe, a Japanese port. He has also bought a 6 bedroom house worth 1 millon dollars in Tokyo’s exclusive Setagaya-Ku district.

President Mahama must tell Ghanaians about the true state of his wealth In Ghana the John Mahama gravy train knows no stopping. He has recently acquired Ghana’s premier financial powerhouse , the Merchant Bank built over the years by hardworking Ghanaians, by using a special purpose vehicle called Fortiz. President John Mahama through a secret company registered in South Africa owns 60% of Fortiz making him the real owner of the bank. This is a clear and very serious violation of Ghana’s constitution and which forbids public officials from acquiring state properties while in office.

The President must fully account to Ghanaians what he really did on his trip to the United Arab Emirates and stop the despicable looting of our state funds which is now reaching endemic and uncontrollable proportions.
