Kotoko, Ablordey charged for misconduct

Asante Kotoko have been charged for misconduct by their supporters during a Premier League match against Heart of Lions in Kumasi

Two counts of misconduct have been preferred against Kotoko who will appear before the Disciplinary Committee panel on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 to respond to the charges.

According to the particulars of offence, fans of Kotoko after the final whistle of their game with Heart of Lions on March 26, 2014 at the Baba Yara Stadium threw water sachets and bottles onto the tracks of the stadium

The fans of Kotoko also physically assaulted the match officials after the game.

Team manager of Kotoko, Godwin Ablordey has also been charged for two counts of misconduct after physically assaulting assistant referee Ashitey Armah in the same game.

Ablordey also insulted the match officials during recess of the game.
