Akaminko steers into Turkish Cup final

Ghana international Jerry Akaminko will be contesting for his first silverware after helping Eskisehirspor beat Antalyaspor 3-1 to qualify for the Turkish Cup final on Thursday.

The centre-back played full-throttle as they overturned a 1-0 first leg defeat to win 3-1 away at the Akdeniz Universitesi Stadyumu in Antalya.

Akaminko has been consistent for the side and has made 25 appearances this term for his side in the Turkish Super Lig.

Eskisehirspor will now face Galatasaray, a club linked with Akaminko, in the final.
