Kotoko to clinch third successive League title

...with All Stars win today

Kotoko will clinch a historic third successive Ghanaian Premier League title if they beat All Stars on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors lead second-placed Heart of Lions by 10 points with only four games to spare.

The Kumasi-based side will thus clinch a historic third successive title if they manage to negotiate their tie against All Stars at the Tamale stadium.

Anything short of victory will put their Premier League success on hold, at least for a number of days.

Kotoko have blown hot and cold in the latter stages of the campaign and will hope for a favourable result against All Stars away from home – which will eventually be the icing on the cake.

Coach Mas-ud Dramani is hugely credited for helping the side become dominant on the local scene.

Many have tipped them to continue to dominate for many years to come as they seem to attract top players in West African countries.
