We want to keep Kone, but... – Didi Dramani

Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-Ud Dramani says he would love to keep Ivorian trialist Mamadou Kone, following impressive displays during the club’s pre-season games in Tamale.

Dramani noted that the only challenge is finding the money to sign the Ivorian, who has netted three times in the five pre-season games the Porcupine Warriors have played so far.

” The issue of him still being with us here means we are interested in him and the other issue is with the people at the top [management] to look for money to get him if we have it.”

Dramani, who has won three major trophies with the Reds, eulogized Kone’s abilities, adding that he is confident of the Ivorian’s ability to adapt to the Ghanaian game.

“So far he has distinguished himself well; his sense of position, technical and ability to hold onto the ball is very ok. We are trying to work on him so that he will be able to adapt to our style of football. He is receiving the right reception here and will adapt quickly.”

The other two Ivorian trialists, Sylla Adams and Alhassan, were however allowed to leave last week
