Akaminko trains separately at Eskisehirspor

Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko continues to train separately ahead of Eskisehirspor’s Turkish Super League game at Mersindmanyurdu on Sunday.

Akaminko, 26, worked with the team’s health care separately as he fights to regain full fitness. The Ghanaian international has not kicked a ball since a horrible knee injury which ruled him out of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He has since returned to Turkey where he has been training separately under the supervision of the team’s physiotherapist.

The ex-Heart of Lions strong centre-back is anxious to regain fitness and fight for a place in Ghana’s squad for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
