Jordan Opoku hails Rashid Sumaila capture

Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku is raving about the return of defender Rashid Sumaila who is on a one-year loan deal with the Ghanaian champions.

Sumaila became a marque signing for the Porcupine Warriors after he was left frustrated at South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 22-year-old has won two career league titles; one each with Kotoko and Sundowns and was an unused substitute at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Opoku says he will add needed quality to Kotoko ahead of their league title defence and 2015 CAF Champions League campaign.

“Sumaila is a good addition who is experienced even at his young age,” Opoku told GHANASoccernet.com

“He is strong and very intelligent and I am really happy he has joined us. He will help us achieve our goals this season.” - See more at: http://ghanasoccernet.com/kotoko-ace-midfielder-jordan-opoku-hails-rashid-sumaila-capture/#sthash.rYQBfOWg.dpuf
