Ismaily place $2.8 million price tag on John Antwi

Egyptian Premier League side, Ismaily, will only sell Ghana striker John Antwi once the interested club is ready to pay 20 million Egyptian Pounds ($2.8 million) for the services of the ex-Hearts of Oak and Eleven Wise attacker, according to Egyptian news portal Alwafd.

Sporting Director of Karlsruhe, Jens Todt was in Egypt last Monday to watch Antwi in Ismaily’s clash with Asyouty Sport and the German Bundesliga side is expected to table a bid for the 22-year-old in the coming days.

John Antwi, who has now scored 12 goals in 13 league games, could become the replacement for Karlsruhe’s attacker Rouwen Hennings and Koen van der Biezen, who are on their way out of the club.
