Sports Ministry settles outstanding bonuses of Black Queens and 3 others

The Sports Ministry settled the outstanding bonus of the four national teams; the Black Queens, Maidens, Princesses, Local Black Stars and Starlets on Friday, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.

Though a cheque of Ghc180 million was handed to the Black Queens, the Sports Ministry declined to release the amount on all the cheques paid to the other three national teams.

The Black Queens were owed $6,000 each before participating in the Namibia 2014 Africa Women’s Championship, leading to threats of training boycotts during the tournament three months ago.
